YNW Melly's Request For A Mistrial In The Double-Murder Case Was Denied


Presently, YNW Melly is involved in a highly heated double murder trial. The rapper is currently charged with two counts of murder in connection with the suspected killings of YNW Sakchaser and YNW Juvy. The murders happened in 2018, and Melly has now been incarcerated for over five years. However, the trial is now fully underway, and many people are paying close attention. Although in just one week of discussions, there have undoubtedly been some perplexing turns and turns.


The prosecution has had a challenging time presenting evidence thus far. The judge, for instance, disallowed the use of Snapchat memories. They furthermore objected to the inclusion of the song "Murder On My Mind." Moreover, there have been a few adversarial witnesses who have accused the prosecution of pushing them into testifying. All of this ultimately resulted in a request for a mistrial on Thursday. Judge Murphy III had time over the weekend to consider his options in response to Melly's lead attorney's request to have the trial dismissed.
