Lil Tuda, a 14-year-old Drill Rapper, was Shot and Killed in Chicago

Lil Tuda, a 14-year-old drill rapper who goes by the stage name Drill, became the most recent rapper from the city to pass away as a result of gun violence over the weekend in Chicago.

Lil Tuda (actual name Timothy Lockhart) was shot in the head on Chicago's West Side at 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, on the 100 block of South Homan Avenue, according to ABC 7 Chicago. He was declared deceased at Chicago's Stroger Hospital.

While Lil Tuda was being shot many times, another 14-year-old child was also wounded and sent to the same hospital. Currently, his status is described as critical.

The two teenage boys were shot on the Father's Day and Juneteenth holidays, according to Chicago community organizer Andrew Holmes. He called the incident a tragedy.

Holmes began, "I'm not at all happy. Father's Day and Juneteenth: what are they commemorating? So long as we can't put an end to this gun violence and Black-on-Black crime and take these people into custody, talk to me. But we have two babies right here.

How would their fathers' happiness be determined, he continued? How will their mothers feel about this? How can this family possibly be content? It's unjust. Bring these people in.

The Chicago drill rapper was supposedly a member of the DMG (Dirty Money Gang), which is a group of Gangster Disciples and Black P Stones, according to a tweet from the 16th & 17th District Chicago Police Scanner on Monday (June 19).

Condolences to the family.
